Our History

Welcome to the veterinary medical hospital of Clearwater. The veterinary medical hospital of Clearwater was opened by Dr. Steadman Carr in 1958, in response to a need for a quality, full service veterinary care facility serving the greater Clearwater, Dunedin, Safety Harbor area. At that time US 19 was two lanes as was state road 580 (main street). There was just a big field across the street where the countryside mall now stands. Top notch veterinary care, veterinary medicine on the cutting edge, an animal hospital where you are treated like family, these are the reasons caring pet owners have chosen us for over fifty years

                                                                      Dr. Bendit joined the veterinary medical hospital of Clearwater family in 2005. He has been practicing veterinary medicine for 25 years. He has extensive knowledge and experience in dermatology, surgery and all aspects of pet care. His goal is to provide excellent quality care and service to every client and patient. He would love the opportunity to meet you and help you make the best health care decisions for your pet.
